SmartShyp interview questions

The owner offered me the job but then told me he didn't think I was worth my asking salary. He asked me to justify why I was worth $60,000 because he thought that I was worth less than $40,000. I told him I had a BA in the field that was on the description, four years of writing experience, journalism experience, SEO experience, and my previous employer was one of their competitors and offered me $60,000. He flat out told me that my last employer overpaid me. All I'm going to say is that this guy must really appreciate his employees. So, the offer was less than $40,000 and no benefits. I said hell no.
