Straightforward. Walking through the cv and fairly basic competencies. You may get interviewed by different sector group resulting in having a choice of which sector group to join if you get an offer.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Skillcapital (London, England)
Interview
3 interviews: Associate, Principal and Director of sector team in question
Very friendly - we ended up talking about lots of things that weren't work-related. They're using it primarily to get the feel of who you are as a person and what you're like to work with: they take team compatibility very seriously here. The work-related questions were forgiving, and they weren't expecting you to know the detailed ins and outs of private equity or executive search, but at least rationally explain and explore how you'd go about working out what you might not know.
