I applied through university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Simon-Kucher (Cambridge, MA) in Mar 2014
Interview
Interviews coordinated over phone. I sent in my application to my school's job board, and within a week I was scheduled for my first phone interview, which was a case question with some fit. A few days later I had my second phone interview, which was shorter and all fit. The next day, I was called in for a final round interview at the Boston office. The super-day consisted of 3 interviews and a written math test.
Super friendly interview process, very fast timeline and feedback very enjoyable process. The timeline was: November online assessment, December HR call, January Final Interview. Very motivated office atmosphere and super friendly and insightful interviewers. The final interview was 1h to prepare for a case and then 1h to present it to multiple senior associates/ partners. The process was intense but very well guided very enjoyable experience.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Why do you think pricing is especially important for the life sciences industry?
HR was slightly rude and unfriendly. Mentioned that she was surprised to be working on a weekend. Therefore felt like I was impacted unfairly due to that. Would recommend HR to being more engaging
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Simon-Kucher in Nov 2023
Interview
Pretty simple. 2 rounds of interview. First was simple case interview. Second was 3 rounds with 3 partners. Prepare case interviews and focus on pricing and other revenue drivers. The second interview is 3 hours long so prepare for that.
