I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Shopify (Toronto, ON) in Apr 2021
Interview
I applied online and got an email a week later to schedule an interview. I chose a week after for the interview to prepare myself. I looked through the questions in Glassdoor and prepared a script for myself. Finally got to meet the interviewer. Lovely lady and it was a good 2-sided conversation. Discussing my last 2 jobs and what I learned from them. It lasted 30 minutes and I only had time to to ask 2 questions as we ran out of time. 3 days later they informed me that I wasn’t moving on to the next step. I don’t know what they were looking for. I thought it went well and I established a good rapport but I guess it wasn’t good enough. I have extensive call center experience and was upbeat as I was discussing my people skills and so on. Maybe I took too much time trying to connect with the interviewer that ruined it for me? I really thought I did well but oh well...

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Shopify (London, England) in May 2022
Interview
The process was straight forward, I filled out the form on the Shopify website from which it took about 2 days to hear back with an invite to a lifestyle interview. There it was just about getting to know me and how I got on the road that has led me to apply for this position.
After that I was invited to a technical interview which consisted of 2 chats and a Email.
Overall I highly recommend creating a test store before the technical interview as it helped out a lot in preparation.
The whole process took about a month
