The interview process started professionally, but the overall experience was disappointing. During the interview with the product team, there was limited effort to deeply explore my experience, and much of the time was spent on a case that felt as though the solution was already defined.
The product interview lasted around 1.5 hours and required significant preparation and time. In return, the feedback provided was brief and generic, and was shared only with HR. After requesting more detailed feedback, I did not receive a response.
This made the experience feel impersonal and discouraging. Recruitment processes involve real people and real-time investment, and I believe a more human-centered approach, with clearer communication and constructive feedback, would greatly improve the candidate experience.
