I applied through university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Shell (Houston, TX) in Mar 2015
Interview
It was great, I was applying as a student intern for my senior year of high school. They brought us out to the site and provided us lunch. We got to network and meet supervisors and other employees that were willing to provide us an insight of what it would be like to work for Shell. Everything was done in an orderly manner.
I applied online. I interviewed at Shell (Calgary, AB) in Jan 2026
Interview
Self video screening interview and then only the select candidates move forward with actual interview. It seems very few are filtered through AI filtering. They tell you if you aren't selected within few days.
The first round is a general screening with two components. the first is multiple choice where you are put in plausible situations at work regarding following guidelines. Then there is a personality quiz, and finally 3 prerecorded interview questions with unlimited attempts
