I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at ServiceNow in May 2016
Interview
Conducted a drive on Saturday in Bangalore. They could not handle the schedules properly. People had to wait for 2 hours just to complete one round. Interviewers don't have basic etiquette to introduce or to know about the previous work experience , can't spend atleat 5 mins? Looks like they have been trained to give questions from geeksfromgeeks site .regular nonsense questions . Work profile doesn't deserve such hiring bar . Heard have to use some proprietary IDE and frameworks to develop business apps .
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
find pairs that sum up to a number given an array of integers
The process was straightforward: phone screen, meeting with the hiring manager, three more interviews with team members and department head involving technical and behavioral questions. However, at the end of it all, even though they said they wanted to proceed to hire me, they stated they did not (yet) have a budget/headcount available for the position and wouldn't be able to make an offer until next quarter IF they get the budget... so why were they interviewing for the position now in the first place? Frustrating to have spent all that time interviewing only to learn this AFTER the whole process.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at ServiceNow (Dublin, Dublin) in Dec 2024
Interview
2 technical interviews, 2 coding questions for each one and 1 system design questions, one coding question was NP hard.
and recruiter was about to move to final interview and then rejected saying that new requirements showing up so cannot move, I was like: ???
I mean I have seen similar stories here on Glassdoor about this similar situation, so I am not surprised, but can you find an even lamer excuse? Made my whole day, toxic people
