      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Scotiabank (Toronto, ON) in Mar 2014

      Interview

Great! Professional Senior Management team. Could improve on being more creative with questions, questions are your standard behavioural and mix of pre-screen. I really like the team and the people are great to work with. Highly recommend this workplace.

      Question 1

Tell us about a time in which you had a very difficult job to fill? What sourcing strategies did you use?

I applied through other source. I interviewed at Scotiabank (Toronto, ON)

      Interview

Smooth interview process. They want to get to know you and understand your thought process. Be authentic in your approach to the interview. A lot of the interviews are pivoting to in person though.

Why do you want to work at Scotia?

      Application

I interviewed at Scotiabank (Toronto, ON)

      Interview

Lengthy & inappropriate. Was being pressured to share about family status. It was uncomfortable and seemed intentional with how the two interviewers introduced themselves. They asked me to share about myself and suggested that they could go first. They told me how long they worked for Scotia and then about their families (married, with kids). That's it. No educational background, interests or hobbies. This singled to me that they wanted to know my family status.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Tell me about yourself, we can go first (and then proceed to only share about how long they have worked there + their personal family situation)
