I have been working at Scotiabank full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Scotiabank is a leading bank in the Americas. The bank has strong presence in Latin America, having the main base in Canada. Work-life balance (I'd term it 'Work-Life Integration') is ensured here in such a way, employees feel pride to say 'We are Scotiabankers'.

    Cons

Pay structure is not too bad but it needs further review, making it more competitive.

    Advice to Management

Please continue the current trend of treating employees with humane attitude. People really feel proud to recognize themselves as Scotiabankers. A bit more competitive perks will make employees' lives more comfortable.

I have been working at Scotiabank

    Pros

Agile workspaces, transparent compensation and benefits, great networking opportunities.

    Cons

Lower pay (than comparable within the industry), legacy systems that need to be scrapped

    Advice to Management

Communicate opportunities for career advancement. The company is huge and you can go or do whatever you want, and this should be highlighted as often and clearly as possible to keep employees engaged in their current performance.
