I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at ScienceTomorrow (Lexington, KY) in May 2016
Interview
Very informal. The CEO screwed up her schedule for the first interview and I had to come back three times for "an appropriate time" to interview. Once there, it was obvious that she was just desperately looking for anybody to fill the position. As the title says, I was applying for an internship, but once onboard it was clear she expected me to be a fully contributing team member, with very little experience in the field. She promised to "explore the area with me", but with only 3 employees to balance an entire startup's workload, this wasn't physically possible. Every appointment with consulting experts was canceled because she is very cheap, and has no actual idea of what a competent skillset in her industry is.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
She asked if I had taken classes relevant to the area of expertise.
