I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Schrödinger
Interview
Poorly coordinated 5 hour interview - nearly duplicate technical questions were asked between different interviewers.
Home brewed Python questions were a bit confusing and poorly coded/constructed and had the feeling of being hacked together last minute (but I don't think they were).
Could have been 2-3 hours and been just as effective.
Also would have been nice to get an outright rejection instead of being ghosted, considering I had to take a PTO day to participate in their unnecessarily long process.
The team itself seemed great, but the interview process and questions were overall poor.

I applied online. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at Schrödinger in Oct 2021
Interview
Initial phone call around 45 min to 1 hour long talking about background, interests, next steps, etc. the standard initial interview questions. Nothing technical as position didn't have to be an expert yet.
