I applied online. I interviewed at Schrödinger (Portland, OR) in Oct 2022
Interview
First interview was with HM, second was a panel interview with the team and 3rd was with business stakeholders. All interviews were mostly behavioral and everyone was extremely kind, nice and knowledgable.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Schrödinger (Munich, Bavaria) in Apr 2026
Interview
I got into the process through an internal referral. The first interview with the hiring manager was mostly conversational, focused on the role, the company, and my questions about both. After that, I was invited to officially apply through the company website and had a second interview with the same hiring manager, this time focused more on behavioral and business-related questions.
The third interview was with the hiring manager’s supervisor and was again less technical, with more emphasis on sales, business development, and communication skills. I received very positive feedback after this round, but unfortunately was not moved forward. From my understanding, the final stage would have been an on-site interview including a presentation and meeting the team.
