      Difficult interview

      Application

      I interviewed at Sapiens (Bengaluru)

      Interview

hiring process for the Business Analyst role at Sapiens was unnecessarily long and poorly managed. Over 6–7 weeks, I went through multiple interview rounds and a detailed case-study assignment, with consistent positive feedback at every stage. Despite this, communication was slow, unclear, and often absent. After final discussions, I was informed that hiring was paused due to restructuring. While business changes are understandable, taking candidates this far without timely closure reflects poor candidate management. The extended wait combined with repeated positive signals made the experience misleading and mentally exhausting. Candidates invest significant time and effort, and this process showed a clear lack of respect for that commitment. Overall, a disappointing experience and a strong example of poor candidate experience and candidate management. Please do r&d about the organization on restructuring and layoffs then make a decision

      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Sapiens

      Interview

The initial process with HR was smooth, but the technical interview was quite disappointing. First, they contacted someone who seemed unprepared, as she had no knowledge of the meeting or my resume. I believe she was a delivery or technology manager. Her attitude throughout the interview was unprofessional. She appeared disengaged, frequently rolling her eyes as if she didn't want to be there. It became clear that they placed significant importance on insurance knowledge, which I explicitly mentioned twice that I do not have. However, she responded by implying that anyone with a degree should have some understanding of insurance, including the types and common terms in the field. After my second clarification about my lack of insurance experience, they abruptly ended the interview and sent me an assessment case to complete. At that point, I decided to decline further participation in the process.
