I applied in March online and was contacted by an HR representative mid-April to come in for an interview. The HR person was very responsive over email and was very helpful in finding a slot that worked for me as well as them. I interviewed the last week of April, with a panel of 3 people. The interview was very pleasant, they asked me standard questions about my experience and my interest in academic publishing. It felt like a comfortable conversation, and I didn't feel at all like I was being grilled or interrogated. At the end of the interview, the lead told me that I would be contacted within the next 2 weeks with an answer. I never heard back from them.
I emailed the HR person I had been in contact with and nothing, no response. I then emailed each of the three people I had interviewed with and again, no response. It has now been two months and I have heard nothing from Sage, not a rejection, not a "sorry we haven't gotten back to you," nothing. This is extremely unprofessional and frankly just plain rude. This has happened to two friends of mine as well and it's extremely upsetting.
