I would honestly not recommend anyone to interview at S&P Global Platts. I applied for the above role after HR reached out via LinkedIn. These are the reasons -
1. The first round interviewer was pleasant and at the end of the interview said that HR will reach out within the week for the next steps. HR took more than 2 weeks to reach out, during which time they didn't respond to any emails.
2. I was finally scheduled for the 2nd round, and prepared all day, when HR called me to cancel 2 minutes before the interview because the interviewer had a meeting. This was very unprofessional and wasted my time. if there was a meeting scheduled, they should have let the candidate know earlier.
3. They finally rescheduled the interview, and the interviewers were completely uninterested and rude. Did not bother asking or answering questions that I asked. It seemed that they were forced into the interview and did not want to pick me or hire for the role at all.
4. Complete silence after the 2nd round. No email to even say that I was rejected or replying to emails. This is a terrible experience overall as the interview dates were constantly changed (several times), HR was unresponsive and interviewers hostile.
