      OMT Training Interview

      21 Nov 2025
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Atlanta, GA
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Ryder System (Atlanta, GA) in Nov 2025

      Interview

The interview process was drawn out, and the recruiter failed to provide updates on promised dates. This lack of communication shows a disrespect for the candidate's time. I drove 4 hours for an interview that was starting 15 minutes late and no job offer. I also felt like management was being sexist towards me with some of the questions I asked like “what’s something you wish you would’ve knew going into Ryder?” And one of the managers looks at me and says “if I were to give you advice it would be to speak up if you hear anything hear that makes you uncomfortable.” There were hardly any women working there. If you’re gonna be interviewing candidates who don’t live in the state then ALLOW virtual interviews! A waste of my time. Also there was no work life balance 3-11pm shifts and no weekends off for 2 years before becoming a manager.
