I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Rocket Internet
Interview
First there is a short phone interview regarding my resume, former projects and education. They simply asked me questions on the product of the startup they would send me to and why I wanted to work for them.
Second, I was invited to an on site interview at one of the Rocket Internet StartUps I would be working for. They did an interview that was similiar to a McKinsey interview. After several stakeholders talked to me about my views on certain technologies and some test question on programming languages, I got lots of personality questions (example: tell me about a situation where you failed and describe you feelings and emotions) and a small set of case study questions.

Question 1
How many grocery stores are there in Germany? Come up with a number and explain your answer.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Rocket Internet (Gurgaon, Haryana) in Mar 2012
Interview
It was the startup phase. hence the guy who interviewed me also had a very vague idea. Promised me a big role but when I landed I saw that 3 other guys who were offered the same role clueless as to where they are headed. Part of it is due to nature of hiring in a startup but largely due to badly planned recruitment.
Regular interview. They believe in MBAs and Pedigree for very senior roles.
