I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Robert Half (Atlanta, GA) in Jul 2012
Interview
Like most of these contracting firms, The Creative Group seemed to be more determined to provide a great experience at first contact. I was recruited through the Manager for a short interview and screening of my work history. During my time sitting in the main lobby i did notice that they where pulling in new applicants for various positions. The administrative assistants seemed friendly and where straight to the point in filling out the required paper work. They do have a clause that any work that is performed during your employment under the Robert Half company name is not your property. This is standard and I would think that this should be the case for all contracting firms. However, I do feel that one should be able to receive credit where credit is due.
My Interview was not to time consuming and was very open air conversation. Not too many tricky questions mainly the ones you can find anywhere. My interview was more of an assessment of who I am and where I would fit best with my background. Though it was in a professional environment I felt comfortable the whole time.
After the interview, I was sent later that day some assessment tests. These tests where to be completed within a few days before they expired. What I found out is that they mesure your skill sets to a Global scale system. You must pass at a average to above average to be considered for employment opportunities. I however was just below and was told that I would be contacted at a later date. This has not happened, and I had also reached out to see if I could retake these tests. And the response was maybe and they would look into this. I have not heard back and this was over 5 months ago.

The recruiter was easy to talk to and kept things clear and professional. They asked about my background, what I’m looking for, and explained how their process works. We didn’t move forward with a job right away, but I appreciated the follow-up and overall it was a good experience.

They just called me and basically I got the job on the spot. It seemed extremely sketchy because it seemed way too good to be true and it ended up being way too good to be true.
