Development Engineer- Function Development (High Pressure Fuel Pump) Interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Robert Bosch (Bursa) in Oct 2019

      Interview

Applied online. Got invited to an online interview in two days. Completed the interview 5 days after initial application. Called the company for the result 4 weeks after the application and been asked to wait. Got a "thank you" letter 3 months later. It is a typical German company in Turkey. They are offering one fourth of what people make abroad and hire people comfortable with it. They claim to employ top graduates yet a short online search proves the opposite with a few exceptions. Being from the city, I know for a fact that there are people in this company who manage hundreds of people and owe their entire careers to organizations which the state have been recognizing as criminal for several years! Lookup online for Bosch careers which skyrocket without proper reason. As for the employment procedure, apparently in any scenario, you'll get an invitation claiming that you had passed a pre-screening. Then you will be asked questions completely misaligned with your resume. You will be subject to template questions presuming that you live in EU/developed world standards despite the fact that you live in a developing country. There a million non-technical things they can ask you in line with your background yet they choose to ask you plastic questions which would make you a sociopath if you were to answer them in a way a developed world individual would answer. An example; in a normal country you can answer the "your biggest weakness" question in a proper way such as I tend to do this or that too much etc. In THIS country of the pinnacle of cheap work force and chronic unemployment, no one with a sane mind should expect a plastic answer such as "I tend to work too hard" while average working hours are close to 60 hours/week! If people can live with themselves after such fake dialogues I am afraid they would deserve the mobbing dominated culture which so many Bosch employees report on online portals. Regardless, the preference is clearly people they know beforehand via channels that are unknown to non-sociopaths like myself and the HR is not actually...HR? Scandalous place. Don't bother.
