I had a face-to-face interview with the team head at River Mobility, and the discussion went well. They seemed satisfied with the conversation and gave a positive impression during the meeting. However, the post-interview experience was disappointing.
Despite following up multiple times, there was no communication regarding the hiring status. Eventually, after several calls, the HR informed me that I was not selected. While I fully understand that not every candidate gets selected—and I respect the decision—a simple update or closure would have shown basic professionalism and courtesy. Keeping candidates in the dark is disheartening, especially after taking time and effort to attend in-person interviews.
I hope the company improves its candidate communication in the future. A transparent and respectful hiring process leaves a lasting impression—regardless of the outcome.
