I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Rite Aid (Sheffield, AL) in Jun 2012
Interview
The interview and hiring process was fairly quick and painless for me. I have a relativity who is a district manager in another state who referred me, so I'm sure that had something to do with it. About a week after I applied, I received a call to set up my interview. I was asked several general questions; nothing too crazy or unexpected. After the interview I completed a personality test, background check, and was offered a position about a week later.

Question 1
I was asked about a time when I had to handle a difficult situation with a customer. Since this was my first job, I was told to relate it to school.
Standard interview process. Asked about myself and my experience. Typical questioning about pharmacy background. Wasn’t very long process. Went well no complaints that I can remember. Thank you very much.

A short 5-10 minute interview with the pharmacist manager. They may ask you about your math capabilities, but overall short. No multiple rounds or excessive prying of the candidate. Overall, quite simple.
