I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Rio Tinto (Singapore) in Dec 2016
Interview
Took almost 3 weeks to get a call for an interview.
Interviewer was unprepared, made small talk, very nice and easy going interview, talked about my job experiences and how I dealt with problems. The universal question of where I see myself in 2-5 years. How do I deal with people when there is a problem, how to distinguish between personal and professional, provide examples etc.,
Overall the experience was very good and improved my interview skills, did not get the job in the end but made great impressions to the hiring manager.

Question 1
Not having worked in the industry before, what do you know about the mining landscape and our role in it?
I interviewed at Rio Tinto (Perth, Western Australia)
Interview
Good communication and easy process for setting up time for the interview. Afterwards didn't hear back for a few months despite promising that they will get back to me in 2 weeks.
Three rounds of interviews with HR, Hiring Manager or Managers and Senior Leaders. The interviews have a conversation style rather than testing your knowledge and capabilities. They test your personality and ability during the last interview, however it is a high level conversation.
