I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Ring (Los Angeles, CA)
Interview
It was pretty shambolic. We started off in a room adjacent to the warehouse that was previously used for kidnap and torture, then progressed to an office. Everyone was very lovely but I got the sense that they were going through the motions. In fact, the hiring manager told me halfway through my seven interviews that they already had someone for the job. Seven contiguous interviews over lunchtime without a break. Follow up was a templated email 10 days after the event.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Ring in Dec 2018
Interview
I had two phone interviews, one with a recruiter and then another with an unspecified role. After this, I had a assignment to complete (writing sample). Following submission of the sample I was asked to have a 1:1 interview with 4 members of the company.
