I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at RightMetric (Toronto, ON) in Apr 2024
Interview
I had an initial interview with another member of the Digital Strategy team, and then was asked to complete a case study. I don't generally agree with case studies as an interview practice, and it was quite long (at least 8 hours to complete).

Interview
RightMetric's interview process is transparent, flexible, and very engaging. From the first Zoom call to the in-depth interview, and finally the mini-assessment - the entire process felt intentional and conversational. Personally, I loved the hands-on component of doing a small assessment to get a feel of the day-to-day work itself and left feeling encouraged and inspired regardless of the final outcome! Definitely a positive reflection of the organization's culture as well.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at RightMetric (Vancouver, BC) in Oct 2019
Interview
I applied on the company website. The next day I heard back from the COO that there were some changes in the role since I had applied and they wanted to be upfront about it. The changes were in my favour so I said I wanted to proceed with the process.
I had the first round on the phone, after which there was an in-person round. I also got to discuss live challenges that they were facing, and constraints I was facing (baby on the way, pre-planned trip home).
I found the interview process to be very thorough and thoughtful in terms of respecting the candidate's time, being transparent, providing clarity and keeping the process moving along.
Finally, there was a detailed reference check. I got a verbal offer before the check was complete and once that was done I received a formal offer which I readily accepted.
