I applied through other source. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Reynolds and Reynolds (Dayton, OH) in Mar 2016
Interview
I had to go through multiple online tests as a preliminary step in the interview process. The questions were fairly difficult and the time given was not long. I heard back not long after this process and set up a Skype interview, which was very basic. After the initial Skype interview, I scheduled a Skype interview with the hiring manager.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Reynolds and Reynolds (Dayton, OH) in Jul 2018
Interview
Applied online, was immediately contacted to come in and take the assessment test. For me the verbal reasoning section was much easier than the quantitative section. I was eventually hired, and afterwards was told that passing the assessment test was more difficult than being accepted to Stanford.
Following the test, I was asked if I could stay to meet with a recruiter. Here I was given the option of two different positions. One, I originally applied for, the other was in the recruiting office. I chose to stay with Marketing, and was scheduled to come in later that week for an interview. Following the second interview, I was immediately drug tested and a day later was offered the job.

Interview
The hiring process is broken at many companies. And since people make your company great (or not great), the hiring process and its result can make or break your year as well as the delivery of the long-term plan.

Question 1
Whether you are a big company or a small one just beginning the process of bringing on staff, each position requires significant time and attention. It is an expensive and disruptive game to hire and fire because you could not get it right the first time. Both parties suffer when the process is broken.
