Retail Solutions (Ireland) Software Developer interview questions

The first round was an introduction session then followed by Code challenge. Final round was to discuss the code developed and technical questions. I received an offer after following up with HR after my final round. The offer was less than my current salary. Tried to negotiate but later the HR stopped responding. After a week followed up again and HR sent back an email that they cannot offer my expected salary. Plot twist: I was approached by a third party recruitment company for same role with a better salary for the same role that matched my expectations for the role . So in reality if I'd have applied via the recruitment company, I would have got this offer for a better pay.
