Was invited to HR interview and was told of steps for next round. However was GHOSTED by HR despite numerous attempts to follow up via email. Highly unprofessional and looks badly on the company unfortunately.

Interview
Completed the HR screener, then an unpaid assignment (a report brief and slide deck), and finally a panel interview. There were some preconceived biases that did affect the interview process, particularly related to academia.
I had a phone interview with the company which was pretty standard. The interviewer was very friendly and professional, didn't grill me but asked well informed questions. However, when I asked about pay and in-office expectations, they provided a salary that was far below my other offers, so I did not proceed with the interview.
