I applied through university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Recruiting.com (Scottsdale, AZ)
Interview
I was very exciting learning about this company, yet was completely disappointed in their hiring process and leadership. They use their trendy office and fun atmosphere to cover up the flaws in their management. I met with the recruiter at my university and we discussed a client success position and a sales position. I explained that I was not interested in a sales position, but they were still interested in me and flew me out to Scottsdale for an in person interview. For the interview, I was put in room with two directors questioning why I wanted to work in sales, which I had already made clear I was not interested in. They proceeded to try to pressure me into the sales position, and the CEO joined the meeting and tried to intimidate me into taking the position. I made it very clear I was not interested and yet they thought intimidation and authority would change my mind. Very unprofessional and definitely uninviting. As I was leaving the interview, I was asked to meet with the CEO personally in his office, which was quite uncomfortable and very unprofessional. A company should not want to hire a candidate for a job they have no interest in and had to manipulate them into. I hope they do not treat all of their candidates this way.
