      General Manager Interview

      11 Apr 2012
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Radius Recycling in Oct 2010

      Interview

The recruiter contacted me to set up the initial interview with the District Manager. This was for me to understand the expectations of the job and what impression I gave. The next step took a couple of weeks to set up. It was a panel of the Directors from the different departments. The final interview is with the VP of Operations. The flavor of the job won't be felt until a few weeks into it. The verbal expectations from the interview seem obtainable, but a little tougher to achieve once on site with all the other jobs that are expected. The turnover rate is very high, so a lot of hours and days in a row will be the norm at times.
