RYTE (CA) interview questions

3 step process with 1 technical interview. The process went fine. Last interview mentioned that we will offer you the job and HR will contact you. After few days of no response, upon asking what happened. I was told that they offered it to another person. Baffling part is to straight up lie in last call. If they were not sure different words could have been used rather than mentioning you will get the offer.
