I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at RONA (Red Deer, AB)
Interview
This business location gets a lot of applications, quite frequently, so there is a filtering process. First step is to bring your resume to the store, and then fill out an application from the customer service desk. *Pro tip: Also apply for the same position online. That goes to management and it may be a week (or more) before receiving a call-back. If you fit certain criteria (recommend open availability when you fill out the application), then you will receive a phone interview. It's usually about 2 minutes and is step two of the filtering process, to ensure you'll meet company criteria (such as having open hours to match business needs, a willingness to be cross-trained, etc). If you pass that, they'll ask you to come for an interview. It's a fairly casual place, but I'd recommend you dress business-casual for the initial interview (some have shown up in hoodies, please don't do that). Wear close-toed shoes, as this company does require CSA-approved steel-toed footwear onsite during work hours. *The in-person interview is the third level of filtering, and will be with an assistant manager. They will have a checklist of questions, and often ask a variety of behavioral-style questions, as well as why you're interested in working here, when you can start, etc. *Pro tip: Watch some YouTube videos of how to answer well, and also bring a copy of your resume & references. After the interview, expect another week or so, before hearing back on an offer. Generally, the whole process can be up to 3 weeks, sometimes less depending on the time of year. They hire faster close to Spring time and slower in the winter months.

Question 1
Tell me a time where you had to show conflict resolution
It was a good process but it was a very unprofessional interview and the interviewer never contacted back. I was hoping for a response at least because my interview performance was really good.
