For two months, I had phone interviews with an internal recruiter at PLG, followed by three formal interviews (virtual) with key marketing personnel. From my interviews, I surmised that PLG was going through immense transition following a slew of acquisitions, so the role's responsibilities were unclear and the department (company as whole) seemed EXTREMELY disorganized. Despite this, I was willing to take the risk. After my final interview on July 31, I was completely ghosted and never heard from a single contact there ever again. I had been led to believe that the next step was to receive a formal contract from HR, but this never materialized. I reached out countless times to my contacts at the company and never heard back. I had even declined another job offer after the understanding that I would be hired here. I shouldn't be shocked by the lack of communication given how disorganized and seemingly dysfunctional the company is.
