      Application

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Pond5 (Prague) in Jun 2017

      Interview

Three round interview process. 1. Skype with a manager - presenting the company, role, basic questions about my background, etc. 2. Programming homework - prepare a simple web app for image manipulation - propose a solution for a given problem 3. Skype interview with 2 developers - technical questions - unprofessional approach, as on of the interviewers was in a pub or a similar place (loud voices, music playing, ...) and it was almost impossible to understand what he was saying

      Application

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Pond5 (Dublin, Dublin) in Nov 2019

      Interview

The interview process is fairly standard. They have an initial phone interview, a face-to-face second round and a final call with HR. The phone interview went great. Justin was very experienced and knew what he was looking for asking easy to understand questions. The second round was a mess. There were 4 guys, some of them really nice asking good questions and relatively easy to understand what they were looking for. Others just arrogant, full of themselves and asking very weird and vague question making it harder to understand what answer they were looking for. Clearly something they need to look at. There was a clear reason why I didn't get the interview and it was my lack of experience in one particular area.

      Question 1

How does a browser understand requests? How does it know it's me?
