A fairly standard interview process handled with utmost professionalism. The interviewer answered a lot of my questions as well, as I was fairly new the game design interview process at the time.

Question 1
Was asked to design a game with the recruiters and then to show basic programming skills through Unity.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Pocket Gems (South San Francisco, CA) in Oct 2021
Interview
This is one of the most intense interviews Have done. It was a long interview with a lot of stages spanning a few weeks. It tested every aspect of my knowledge as a game designer, with a lot of different staff members doing the interviews, as well there was a large practical skill assessment.
I would say it's a crazy experience and can be exhausting, but it makes sure you are ready for the job in all aspects. As well as show your weaknesses so if you are brought onboard they can pair you with a staff member that can really work with you to make a better designer / make the onboarding process much better for all involved.
