I applied through other source. I interviewed at Pirical (Old Street, England) in May 2025
Interview
5 stages: (1) starting with a screening with the founder, (2) a regular get-to-know-your background and personality interview, (3) one-on-one meeting with the tech lead (whom id be working closely with) (4) technical assignment and presentation (5) final culture fit interview again with the founder. All that in just 3 weeks. I didn’t have to deal with any automated AI processings which I liked. Overall smooth and professional interview process. I asked for feedback after the interview and they even gave it to me which I appreciated.

Question 1
What is one product that you like, and what feature improvement would you make?
I applied through other source. I interviewed at Pirical (London, England) in Nov 2025
Interview
Recruiter reached out. There were 3 total stages including phone screen. Interviewed with Chief of Staff who works remotely from Singapore and had the audacity to tell me that the one thing she would change about the company was to be a 5 days in the office workplace. Didn't know much about sales and could not answer questions about legitimate glassdoor reviews accusing the company firing people after probation for weird reasons and about high turnover. Bullet dodged!

Question 1
I see you've had quite the career journey, why sales?

Interview
after the interview i had such a distaste for working at this place.
in the behavioural interview i kinda got baited into sharing an interpersonal conflict from my pre-prepared situation. it kinda felt like the interviewer baited me until there was something to pick apart. from there on out the interviewer just kept asking these suggestive questions which made it obvious what interpretation of this story will be passed on 😂😂 it felt like talking to someone who doesnt fully appreciate the nuance of the situation because they lack emotional intelligence and are just. not. getting. it. i kinda feel like the interviewer was just pretending to not get it though. idk..
yeah bizarre situation. once i realise i was cooked i just defended my point of view cause i knew i had handled the situation correctly and it seemed wrong to just let my integrity be questioned by some random stranger without standing up for myself. the audacity of this interviewer, man. didnt get the offer anyway lol rip. dodged a bullet for sure.
