      Terristory Development Representative Interview

      9 May 2018
      Anonymous employee
      Denver, CO
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Ping Identity (Denver, CO) in Apr 2018

      Interview

Stages of interview process: 1. Initial talk with staffing agency who got me on linkedin 2. online assessment: personality and cognitive test 3. phone interview with sales manager 4. in person interview with two sales managers and two sales reps 5. phone interview with another sales manager LONG process, they did a good job at expediting the process, working a full time job made the process a little longer. From initial contact to offer was about 4 weeks but could have been 2-3 I scored well on one assessment but they asked me to do the other a second time due to my score being close to passing, so that was nice of them to give me a second chance. really everyone at ping is really delightful. The interviews with the sales reps were more like peer to peer conversations where we had a legitimate conversation about the role, sales-person to sales-person. interview with sales managers focused more on the development of the role and long term goals with the company. final interview was unexpected but really showed what interest they had in me, probably of all the interviews the final one was the most impactful. it was all a legitimate conversation on the drive necessary for the job and what to expect in order to advance in the role.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Why do you want to leave your current company? Describe a time when you had a long term successful sales process with your client? Whats your drive to be in sales? Are you competitive?
