Was asked some basic questions pertaining to my knowledge of animals, customer service, etc. It was probably about 30 minutes long and pretty basic. I'd say it's the typical process for a first job for a teenager.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at PetSmart (Garner, NC) in May 2013
Interview
I interviewed over the phone with the store manager, it was very quick and pretty much just needed to set up an in-person interview. In person I first interviewed with the operations manager, he asked me basic questions about my work style. Then did a second interview with the store manager, who asked me more specific questions about my experience and what I would be willing to do with the job.

Question 1
How do you feel about coming in at 6 am to clean cages?
very simple, one on one interview. asks basic questions! felt like talking to a friend instead of having a tense interview. got to know my manager in the process which was nice.

Interview
I applied online and had an interview with the assistant store leader. I was supposed to have another interview with the store leader but they called me with the job offer before that. The interview happened in the dog training room.
