The interview consisted in several steps, from the recruiter to the team leads, a simulation/presentation (after 1 week of work for a scenario).
People were nice and kind.
What I can say is that a scenario work may not be enough to really evaluate the tech capabilities of a person, especially when the topics could cover a huge variety of topics.
There are candidates that may not "shine" in an interview, but have demonstrated great adaptation and learning skills in the current or previous company.
I'd say: please give people a chance, they might surprise you.
