I applied in-person. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Paychex
Interview
I passed the initial screening (online assessment) and a recruiter reached out to me. After a few days of speaking to the recruiter, I had to nudge the recruiter to reach out to the hiring manager. I interviewed with an area manager. He said he will reach back out, but I have not heard from him ever since. The online assessment takes about 45minutes and another hour or so for interview. It also takes 15-20mins to fill out the application. With so much time spent, one would think that it is a common courtesy to reach back out to the candidate and let them know of the application status. I had high regard to the company prior to the interview and now I am disappointed with the lack of response and the interview process.
It was a phone interview followed by an in-person interview in their offices. The interview was followed by a follow-up call a few days later where I was offered the position.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Several behavioral interview questions, such as "Tell me of a time you improved a process and what were the outcomes"
Applied to the position, a few days later the recruiter contacted me via email to set up a phone interview. Completed the phone interview, the recruiter sent the assessment, once I completed that I was presented to the hiring manager. Ten minutes later I got a confirmation for a phone interview with the manager on a Monday.
Phone interview was very pleasant, the hiring manager asked questions about experience and how it relations to the position. Got an offer on the Friday of the same week. Standard HR/PEO questions were asked.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Paychex (Miramar, FL) in Jul 2019
Interview
Very communicative process. I was notified when moved to next stage. If I had any questions, recruiter/hiring manager were very responsive. I have kept in touch to this day with the hiring manager.
