Panum interview questions

I had the recruiter call me for a screening, she was awesome. I was then scheduled to interview with the COO (Vijay). This is where things went downhill. As a tenured HR professional, I could tell within five minutes that Vijay had no respect for the HR function and only cared about meeting his business goals. There was no conversation. Instead I was drilled with questions, which I answered, but it got to the point I wanted to politely say thank you and goodbye. If HR isn't respected and thought of as a glorified administrator, you will lose people and not be able to meet business goals.
