My process for a help desk position at PNC began following an online career fair in December 2020. After the holidays I conducted a Skype interview the second week of January 2021. The interview lasted approximately an hour and a half and consisted of typical behavioral and simple technical questions. During this time the interview appeared to be going well and the interviewers were engaged and responsive to me. After a few follow up emails, the last contact from someone at the company was February 16 until I finally received a canned email response on April 7 that they decided to pursue other candidates. Overall it was a tremendous waste of time for the company to tell me no following a solid interview for an entry level position for which I was overqualified.
