The process took 2 days. I interviewed at PNC Financial Services Group in Dec 2009
Interview
First interview was a face to face on campus. The questions were asking primarily how I worked in a team environment and were looking for good team workers. The second interview was an all day interview which 6 managers asking resume questions along with typical behavioral questions i.e. tell me about a time when you had a bad team experience, tell me about a time when you had a heavy load, etc. They want to see how you handle stressful situations and work in a team. I thought I did great, had great conversations with all the interviewers. They said it would take less than two weeks to find out, it took 5 weeks with no email letting me know when i should be expecting. Then i received an email saying thank you for your interest but we will not offer you a position. there was no criticism involved and left me dumbfounded
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me about a time when you had a difficult group member and how did you deal.
The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at PNC Financial Services Group (Cleveland, OH) in Nov 2011
Interview
I applied through campus career services and got a first round interview on campus. It was a behavioral interview with a recent alumnist who was an analyst with PNC. Mostle simple questions about interests and group interactions. Got a final round superday in Pittsburgh but I interviewed in a hotel conference center and not the main offices. There were three 1:1 interviews with higher level managers and these were all very similar to each other and the first campus interview. More behavioral questions asking about group and team work and what the work would be like if I was I was offered an internship. Got the offer two weeks later.
