Interview
It was a small company and they hired you based on knowing you and liking you. I was well under qualified for the assistant controller position but they liked me. I was working across the street as a waiter fresh out of college with no accounting experience. They took a chance and trained me well but ultimately i left to pursue other work.

Nothing surprised me. We met at lunch across the street and i was promised the job before the interview. it ended up being just a formality.
