OneCare Media interview questions

I was contacted by email and asked to submit a trial article as a content writer. I did the work 4 days ahead of the deadline. A week later, I get an email saying I was dropped from consideration because I didn't do the trial. I contacted my only contact and heard nothing. It wasn't until at least 2 weeks later that I contacted her superior and asked what happened. I got an immediate response, saying "sorry" and was passed to the next level, which was a paid trial. Again, I did it about 3-4 days ahead of the deadline. It has been nearly 3 weeks. I have heard nothing, even when I asked for verification that my information had been received. I again contacted her superior. Nothing. Now, I have done 2 articles, including one I was supposed to get paid for. The moment of my first contact for the job until now has been 5-6 weeks. I would personally never have treated any potential employee or contract person so poorly and have no idea what to think about this company moving forward.
