Interview
Applied online and a recruiter contacted me the following day to schedule a phone screen. After the phone screen, I was scheduled for a phone call with the hiring manager. Following that call, I was requested to come onsite for a full day.
Overall, the process is straight forward and as a candidate, I had a good sense of where I was in the process and what to expect. For the onsite, OfferUp was very generous with my accommodations, travel, and logistics.
My only piece of critical feedback is that the onsite is very long - it felt like a marathon. I met with 5 leaders in the organization, all for at least an hour. While this gives a chance for both sides to get to know each other, its taxing. I did appreciate the Structured Hiring process they used for the onsite, but due to the length of each conversation, I felt I was giving the same stories and answers over and over again.
Everyone I met was intentional, engaged, and pleasant. The Hiring Manager took time to really get to know me as a person which is valuable.
