The first interview was casual. First an overview of the company, the team, and the positions responsibilities were given. Then some questions about myself, my expectations for workplace environment etc. Then a more organic conversation about challenging aspects of the position and some personal interests.

I’ve been stood up for my interview for this role TWICE now by Ebonne Dupree, after she and Novo Nordisk reached out to me first. I am extremely disappointed, as I was very excited about this opportunity. As a 4.0 graduate student with experience in medical device engineering/programming as well as PLCs and automation, I am shocked to have not even been worthy of a quick email letting me know I am not the right candidate for the role. I understand companies don’t necessarily have to let candidates know they are no longer in consideration, but when the company reaches out first and schedules an interview, I feel it is only right.
