I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Nokia (Lisbon, Lisbon District) in Jan 2012
Interview
Online application with recruiter, got contacted by phone, did phone interview, which was mostly useless, as recruiter data was inaccurate/just generic/trying to find a candidate ASAP, and scheduled interview with client in matter of days. Did 1:1 interview, detailed explanation of operations and braking down of different expected job roles. Also was informed that the horizontal progression is not common or encouraged.
Troubleshooting packet loss, using tools like Wireshark, and practical knowledge of IP infrastructure. Demonstrating Python proficiency for automating network tasks is a major differentiator. Mentions of certifications like CCNA or Juniper certifications (JNCIA, JNCIS) are frequently discussed in the technical phase.

I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Nokia (Singapore) in Nov 2024
Interview
The interview process was quite smooth overall. The interviewer was professional yet friendly. Besides your personality, you are also required to have technical knowledge about Network Infrastructure. If you are able to pass this first interview, I was told that there would be a technical assessment and a final interview. Unfortunately, I didn't pass the first round :(.
