45 Minute technical interview with an engineer via phone. I could use my preferred language and was mainly focused on solving two short programming questions. Also asked a little bit about past projects and my interests at Niantic.

Interview
It took about 2 weeks from the application to the first interview. During the interview have been asked about software design patterns and basic programming questions. Then some behavioul questions. Also an online code testing is needed. Result is based on the interview performance and the coding marks.

Interview
The online assessment was a medium hard level and will be monitored which was not allowed to use AI programming tools. I guess you will have to make an almost 100% correction to pass this stage.

Two rounds. First round was a technical interview with one technical question. Second round was a back-to-back technical interview with two technical questions with two different engineers + resume overview.
