Didn't apply for the job, I was contacted via email by one of their recruiters who had seen my online portfolio. Set up a phone introduction interview with the recruiter. Phone intro went well. Then set up an interview with the manager, which had very weird vibes. They also asked for a test, which was extra weird given the fact that they had reached out to me and my very extensive portfolio was available online along with references they could reach out to. When asked about compensation, the number they gave was about a third of what one would be paid doing everything they had described elsewhere. So they had a very low budget for this position. They also said that after the test I would need to go through 3 more rounds of interviews.
I did the test anyways to see how it went. The test was very time consuming (it was about as much work as any other major studio would give one to do in at least 3 days, and Netflix here wanted it done in 2 hrs). When I sent it, the manager didn't even say thank you. Then they completely ghosted me. Not even an email to say "thank you for the very time consuming selection process you just went through that WE reached out to you for."
