I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Netflix in Apr 2009
Interview
I submitted the application on Netflix website and got contacted by HR within 1 business day to schedule a phone interview with the hiring manager. The hiring manager has very strong education and business background, and asked specific questions. There was a scenario case question about how to decide the right Netflix price package(s). There was a second phone interview with a technical person, who has solid quantitative background and working experience. Overall, I could sense the company is looking for someone who can make contributions at the very first week. Try to study the culture and fact sheets of the company and use their terms/languages during interview.
I applied online. I interviewed at Netflix (Manila, Manila)
Interview
I interviewed at Netflix a couple of years ago. I applied online and received an email a week later from the recruiter to schedule initial interview. A day after the initial interview with the recruiter, I received an email that I passed and scheduled an interview with the Hiring Manager. The conversation with the hiring manager centered mostly about my experience and skills. A few hours after speaking with the Hiring Manager I received an email from the recruiter that I will be moving to the next step which is an assessment that needs to be completed within 72 hours after which I will be scheduled for 3 separate interviews with different members of the team (different departments). On the 1st of 3 interviews, I was interviewed by someone from the UK with a similar role to the one I'm applying to. The interview was mostly about my answers, analysis and findings to the assessment that was previously sent to me. On the 2nd of 3 interviews, I was interviewed by someone from Los Gatos, CA. The interview was mostly about my experience and how I collaborate with different members of the team. The 3rd of 3 interviews was done by someone locally from Manila, Philippines. The interview was similar to the 2nd interview where we mostly talked about my experience and how I work with different teams. A few days later after my last interview, I received an email from the recruiter that unfortunately they have extended the role to someone else.
Overall, it was a positive experience even though I did not get the job. All the interviewers were very nice and professional.

Interview
It was pretty straightforward. The hiring manager was nice and overall wasn't too technical and the whole interview took 45 min They said they would reach out in a few weeks' time.
it was as expected, normal questions - they ask you about your career history, what you do in your current role, what you are looking for, etc. It was average
